I had an ActiveHome system for some time. Unfortunately, I had a computer failure. I still had the software. When I try to install it onto my new computer, it says there is a newer version on the server and aborts the program without linking me to the source of the newer version. I have been to your site and downloaded "setup_ahp.exe". It gives me the same result telling me that there is a newer version on the server and aborts.

How can I get out of this circle and reinstall the software?

The problem might have been caused by some issues in your PC registry. Try to uninstall the software from Control Panel and make sure it is completely removed before attempting to install it again. Alternatively, try installing registry cleaning software, such as Wise Registry Cleaner Free, this should fix your problem by removing any data the old version of ActiveHome left.
